An East Bay family has opened the new Bitty & Beau’s in Providence, creating jobs for more than 20 adults with disabilities. In the heart of downtown Providence, where college life meets local small businesses, there’s a new kind of coffee shop brewing change — one cup at a time. Bitty & Beau’s Coffee, which officially opened its doors on Oct. 25, is more than a café. It’s a movement built on belonging, and it’s being championed locally by Anne-Marie and Patrick Scott — two Rhode Islanders whose lives and careers have long been rooted in education, compassion, and community.
