Bitty & Beau’s, coffee shop chain employing people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, nails down Bethlehem location

Bitty & Beau’s Coffee founders Amy and Ben Wright like to describe their company — named after their children — as a “human rights movement disguised as a coffee shop.”

That movement, where people with intellectual and developmental disabilities work at Bitty & Beau’s Coffee shops, is coming to the Lehigh Valley as the Wrights on Tuesday announced the company’s seventh franchise will be at 74 W. Broad St. in downtown Bethlehem.
