In a labor market where it’s hard to find workers, the owner of Wilmington, North Carolina-based Bitty and Beau’s Coffee told the Business Journal that the solution might be sitting right in front of people.
The coffeehouse concept, which started in 2016, employs individuals with intellectual and development disabilities. The franchise is now on its way to Jacksonville.
